DOCK & BAY microfibre towels

Do you hate how long normal beach towels take to dry ? or even worse, sand all over your damp towel? If your answer is yes then you need to try Dock & Bay’s microfibre towels.

Andy and Benno designed the Dock & Bay towels with some great features:

* They’re the biggest on the market
* They fold up really small
* Sand slides right off due to the smooth texture
* They’re absorbent and smooth
* They dry up to 3 times faster than normal towels

We were sent a bundle that included XL and L towels as well as their mini ponchos – something for everyone in the family.

We’ve used the towels while camping, at home around the paddling pool and whilst away on holidays – here’s how we got on.

The first outing for the Mini Poncho and 2 of the towels was a camping trip. This product is perfect for camping or when going travelling. They’re small and take up no space in your bag and dry quickly! They’re also really trendy and the kids LOVE them

The second outing was on our family holiday to the Costa Del Sol in July – the weather was perfect and we spent a lot of time around the pool. The girls all loved their ponchos which were perfect to pop them in whilst they had a snack in between swim sessions.
We did make it to the beach one morning but the girls weren’t fans of the cold sea so we aborted that mission and went back to the pool. Before we left i threw a bucket of sand on my towel to see what would happen when i picked it up, and just like the website says, it all slid off

Not only do they sell towels and ponchos for the kids, they also sell mens swim shorts that are made from 100 % recycled plastic bottles. Their Active collection is made up of 30% recycled plastic bottles. Last year they replaced all plastic bags used while transporting their goods and have replaced them with 100 % biodegradable materials

Dock & Bay have a brilliant ethos and are all about taking risks, living your best life all whilst building a more sustainable business.

Dock & Bay featured on Dragons Den in 2017 and received 3 offers (Tej Lalvani, Touker Suleyman and Deborah Meadon). They are now working with Deborah to ‘change the face of towels forever!’.

Cuddledry Towels

We were recently sent some goodies from Cuddledry, including the hands-free towel and the SPF Poncho towel. We’ve been using these for a few months, here’s what mum Bronwyn had to say.

THE HANDS-FREE BABY BATH TOWEL
Cuddledry
The award winning hands-free towel is brilliant at bath time. The first thing I noticed was how it felt. It was so soft and I knew Georgia would love it. Even after a fair few washes it is still soft, which I can’t say for the other bath towels in my house!

The apron design with a strap that fastens around your neck makes me feel a lot more in control when picking her up out of the bath. Its long and I felt one of the major differences between this and other towels was that I could completely wrap my baby in the towel, which she LOVED in the cooler months. Other baby towels aren’t nearly as big and her legs and feet always ended up getting cold.

Retailing at £29.99 they are more expensive than most towels you would buy for your baby but they are excellent quality and wash well. They are definitely worth the money!

THE SPF 50 + PONCHO TOWEL

Cuddledry4

The SPF50 + Poncho towel has travelled with us to The Caribbean and to France. Its’ brilliant for a holiday where you’ll be in and out of the water and want to keep your little one shielded from the sun. The hood is great and it seemed to be the only thing Georgia didn’t pull off her head, on both holidays.

Cuddledry have patented technology which means their poncho towels offer UV protection at Factor 50. This is one less thing to worry about when travelling with a little one. Sun cream is still needed but this towel gives extra protection. I was worried about her getting too warm in it whilst sitting next to the pool but because it’s very airy and open along the sides (with poppers that fasten under the arms) it didn’t bother her at all.

I would definitely recommend one for your next trip to the beach, sun or anywhere with a pool! We even use ours at home after swimming lessons. They cost £27.99 and are available to purchase here
